Why can’t I see my Cancellation Policy on the quote page?

To be visible following the cancellation of an order, a “Cancellation Policy” must be defined as “Default” or be associated with the quote customer. A “Cancellation Policy” not by default and not associated with a client will never be shown on the quote page.

Can I charge for a specific amount when applying a Cancellation Policy?

Yes. Cancellation Policies help you set up generic workflows but the amount to be collected after a cancellation is editable directly on the quote page.

When is the money collected after applying the cancellation policy?

The money is collected on the day of the cancellation policy application. Then, it follows the same process as other transactions and the money will be available for the next payout after 7 days.

What are the commission fees after a cancellation policy?

MFC commission fees are collected on quotes with cancellation policies applied. The commission rules used are the same as a regular order. MFC commission fees are calculated on the collected amount.

How long after a customer cancellation can a policy be applied?

A seller must apply a cancellation policy in the 6 days following a customer cancellation. After 6 days, the order and the payment are automatically cancelled.
