Acknowledgement of Service quote request
The service request acknowledgement triggers an acknowledgement email confirming the request receipt by the Service Provider. It is mainly used to confirm that Ground Handling Requests have been considered and the quotation / ordering phase could happen later, or in case the Aircraft Operator has a negotiated contract, the Handler could directly proceed to invoicing.
(1) When new Quote Request is received by the Service Provider, a tick box appears in the Quotation interface, status field. The acknowledgement is available only with the Quotation Request “Awaiting Quote” status. If a Seller quotation is submitted or the request converted to order, the acknowledgement traceability disappears as the process proceeds to the next stage.
If the Aircraft Operator reschedules the flight, the acknowledgement confirmation is put back to null and the acknowledgement tick box appears again to acknowledge the rescheduled flight.
New acknowledgement is as well required in case of service list update by the Customer.

The process is not reversible and if the acknowledgement is confirmed by the Service provider, the emal message is distributed to the Customer, Service Provider copied to the email. A warning message requires submission confirmation.

(2) Once submitted, the acknowledgement is confirmed, tick box closed.

(3) The acknowledgement traceability could be controlled in the Order dashboard under the order status.

(4) The acknowledgement email message is distributed to The Customer Operations Contact as main recipient and to the Service Provider Operations contact in a copy.
